For an existing die and/or coextrusion adapter we can make a simulation of the polymer's flow behaviour in the flow channel, this by means of advanced software, based on Finite Element calculations. In view of this simulation, a proposal is elaborated to optimize the flow geometry of your existing equipment and to increase the productivity.

For new polymers to be processed, this method can be applied to check whether a die or coextrusion adapter is suitable for the desired application, without having to release the extrusion line for time-consuming and expensive tests.

In order to improve the quality of your product, it could be interesting to re-build your existing flat die with manual lip adjustment into a die with automatic lip adjustment system.

In-line systems for suspension and opening of your flat dies in the extrusion line, specially adapted transport and cleaning carriages - eventually to be used as in-line die support - and other additional equipment, were developed to reduce standstill time due to maintenance work and so raise the productivity of the extrusion line.
